There are more than 2300 types of Salmonella.
E. coli (Escherichia coli) - dividing, hemorrhagic 0157:H7 strain. Gram-negative, enteric, facultatively anaerobic, rod prokaryote. Potentially fatal to humans, contracted when contaminated meat is cooked inadequately.
